Content Creator Equipment: My Top Tips
Hey there, fellow travel enthusiasts! I’m Gabriella, the heart and soul behind the Instagram page @Traveltraxx. Since launching my page in September 2024, I’ve been thrilled to see our community grow to over 3,000 followers in such a short time. Your support fuels my passion for sharing captivating travel stories and visuals. I aim to hit 10k Followers in the next 6 months, all organically by producing high quality content.
Currently, I create all my content using the incredible iPhone 16 Pro, which has been a reliable companion for capturing stunning photos and videos. Its advanced camera features and editing tools make it a powerhouse for content creation on the go. That said, as I continue to grow and expand my creative horizons, I’ve been exploring some amazing camera options to take my content creation to the next level. Here’s what I’ve got my eye on. They are all linked so you can browse at your leisure.
Cameras I’m Considering
- Canon EOS R5
This powerhouse is a dream for any content creator, featuring a 45-megapixel full-frame sensor and 8K video recording for ultra-sharp visuals. I love how it can elevate the quality of both photos and videos, making it perfect for epic travel reels. - Budget-Friendly Cameras Under £500
For those just starting out or exploring upgrades, these are great options:- Canon EOS M50 Mark II: Known for its versatile autofocus and 4K video, ideal for vlogging and travel photography.
- Sony Alpha a6000: A lightweight, compact camera with stunning image quality, perfect for spontaneous shots.
Essential Accessories for My iPhone 16 Pro
While my iPhone 16 Pro is my main tool, these accessories help me make the most of it:
- Phone Gimbal Stabiliser: To ensure smooth, cinematic shots for Instagram Reels, even while on the move. I’ve linked the exact one I use. The battery life is good and it’s easy to use and massively improves the quality of Reels.
- Polarizing Lens Filter (for Samsung and iPhones): Enhances colours and reduces glare, especially useful for capturing vivid landscapes.
- Budget-Friendly Tripods: Compact and lightweight, perfect for stable solo shots and low-light photography.
Future Camera Gear Wishlist
To complement the cameras I’m considering, these lenses and tools would be amazing additions to my kit:
- Canon 50mm f/1.4 Lens: For those dreamy background blur effects and detailed close-ups.
- Canon 16–35mm f/2.8 Lens: Perfect for wide-angle shots of breathtaking landscapes and architecture.
- DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone: Aerial views are on my wish list to bring you unique perspectives from above.

My Editing Tools
Even with an iPhone, post-editing is key to creating polished content. I rely on Adobe Lightroom to enhance my photos and achieve a cohesive, vibrant look for my feed. This is a MUST for eye popping photos.
Why I Love Creating with My iPhone
The portability and versatility of the iPhone 16 Pro mean I can capture, edit, and share content in real time, wherever I am. It’s a reminder that you don’t need expensive gear to start—your creativity and perspective are what matter most!
